Even if you can't make it, please consider making a donation to our Summer Camp Scholarship Fund
Bring the whole family to the Urban Ecology Center's A Hoot in the Night for winter activities, entertainment and fun for a worthy cause! All proceeds will give low-income kids the opportunity to attend summer camp at the Urban Ecology Center.
Enjoy owl hikes, sledding, campfires and s’mores, special entertainment by Mr. Flower and his special guest, Gandhi the Great Horned Owl and music by family favorite Fox and Branch. Bid on items at our silent auction and enjoy dinner provided by Trocadero.
Your kids will have a great time at one of following one hour activities supervised by our staff (see offerings below). While they are at their program, you can enjoy spending time with the other grown-ups.
- The Creatures of the Night Presentation with special guest Gandhi the Great Horned Owl (all ages)
- Sledding (ages 6+, younger children must have a parent present)
- Night hike & campfire (ages 8+)
