Observational Tower

From this 75-foot tower children and adults can study the unique ecosystem found in the forest canopy. Or just stop here for a tree top lunch!

As you look from the tower’s top be sure to search our roof for 48 solar photovoltaic panels (enough to provide power to a typical 2500 square foot house) provided by We Energies. Inverters allow power to go directly into the city’s grid.

Aside from being a focal point of the Center and providing an awesome view of Milwaukee’s eastside, the tower
has many “hidden” uses including:

Astronomy club telescope observatory

Frame for climbing wall

Antenna for direct line of site data with UWM and wireless data collection in the park
