Hosted by the Urban Ecology Center branches, these free community events are your ticket to discovering urban green spaces while learning outdoor recreation skills.

Basics of Biking

Partnered with Menomonee Valley Partner's Valley Week & Vision Zero
Join us at the Menomonee Valley Urban Ecology Center for an opportunity to learn the basics of biking. Borrow a bike and a helmet and choose between a guided group ride or an independent ride through Three Bridges Park and a portion of the Hank Aaron State Trail on paths.

Snowshoes & Sleds

Step into some snowshoes and learn the basics of stomping through a snowy landscape. We'll get you up and going with snowshoe sizing, mechanics, and even cover how to get up if you tumble!
Take a walk along a snowshoe trail in Three Bridges Park. Try a simple hike or take on some hilly climbs and descents.
